command for information on how to proceed.
You must replace a power supply if it fails or if one of the fans integrated in
a power supply fails.
Replacing a Power Supply
To replace a power supply:
1. Pull the power cord out of the failed power supply and set it aside.
2. Flip the black handle up.
3. Grasp the black handle and the green lever as shown in
Figure A.9
.
4. Press the green lever to the left.
5. Gently pull the power supply towards you as shown in the following
figure.

6. Insert the replacement power supply into the power supply cage and
push it gently into place. Exert force as necessary to seat the
replacement power supply fully.
7. Insert the power cord.
To bring a power supply back into full service after an error condition,
remove and then re-apply AC power. (Perform this action on the power
supply that experienced the error condition.) Otherwise, the amber LED
state persists even after the error is corrected.
