In the following example, the show ron command (run on another switch in
the RON) shows the UUID for a failed chassis, prtlndA . Again, the UUID is
bolded.

Applying the UUID
As shown in the preceding example, the initial-boot script prompts for the
UUID. Enter the UUID of the replaced switch at this prompt as in the
following example.

Important
No two running chassis should ever share the same UUID. Enter the UUID
only in a switch-replacement scenario.
