Before You Begin
This appendix describes how to remove and replace the ARX-2000
field-replaceable units (FRUs).
When returning a disk drive, power supply, or the whole ARX, you must
send along the serial number for the chassis. In some cases, you also need
the base MAC address for the chassis.
Use the show chassis command to get the serial number. If you cannot
reach the CLI, read the serial number on the front, right-hand side of the
chassis (under the cooling holes).
See the following example output for the show chassis command.

ARX-2000 FRUs consist of the disk drives, the NVRAM battery, the power
supplies, and the chassis itself. The FRUs that are accessible from the front
of the ARX-2000 are the NVRAM battery and the disk drives, as called out
in the following figure.
