STANDARD EVENT
REGISTER

If any of these bits set, and their respective enable bits are set, the Event
Summary Bit (ESB) will set in the STATUS BYTE.

Indicates that the instrument was turned off and on since the last
communication.

CME - Command Error:

Indicates that there was a syntax or spelling error in the command, or the
command received is not supported.

EXE – Execution Error:

Indicates that the instrument detected an error while attempting to
execute a command.

DDE - Device Dependent Error:

Indicates that the instrument did not operate properly due to some
internal error.

QYE – Query Error:

Indicates that an attempt was made to read an empty output queue.

OPC - Operation Complete:

Indicates that all requested operations have been completed.
