Suggestion
P5 Muscle
strengthening
This programme uses a frequency
that allows the muscle fibres to
pulsate. The channels work in pairs
alternating between the different
sides. This improves the muscles
oxidative capacity to increase
maximum muscle strength.
This programme incorporates a
series of active phases followed by
short relaxation periods. Gradually
increase the level of intensity until
you achieve a strong and deep
contraction. However, do not con-
tinue to increase beyond comfort
level.
Duration: 20 minutes.
P6 Muscle
strengthening
This programme uses a pulsating
frequency that massages the
muscle fibres. The channels work in
pairs alternating between the differ-
ent sides. This improves the mus-
cles oxidative capacity to increase
maximum muscle strength.
This consists of a series of working
phases followed by short relaxation
periods. Gradually increase the level
of intensity until you achieve a strong
and deep contraction. However, do
not continue to increase beyond
comfort level.
Duration: 20 minutes.
P7 Active
recovery
This programme activates muscles
in short contraction/relaxation
cycles. It feels like a kneading
massage action. Here the channels
work in pairs alternating between
the two sides.
Use this programme following an
intense training session to promote
recovery and relaxation.
P8 Building
stamina
This programme uses a sequence
of low-frequency pulsations to
develop the oxygen-dependent
capacity and supply capillary ves-
sels. This benefits slowly twitching
muscle fibres. Resistance to fatigue
is increased during long training
sessions of moderate intensity.
This programme incorporates an
alternating series of active phases
followed by short relaxation periods,
lasting several seconds.
Gradually increase the level of
intensity until you achieve a strong
and deep contraction. However, do
not continue to increase beyond
comfort level.
Duration: 20 minutes.
