8 Power
supply
8.1 Battery
charger
The batteries of the lifting aid can be recharged by means of the
supplied charging unit, which is plugged into any suitable power
outlet with the required voltage and frequency.
Voltage and frequency are indicated on the label of the battery
charger.
CAUTION!
Disconnect the battery charger from the battery
pack before switching on or using the lifting aid.
Before longer works holidays, disconnected the
battery charger from the liter and from the power
outlet.
Do not operate the lifter while the battery charger
is connected.
Make sure to use only the original battery charger
supplied by EXPRESSO with a special charging
characteristic. If other charging units are used,
the batteries may become damaged, and any
guarantee claims will be invalidated.

The battery charger supplied with the lifter has a

ned charging characteristic for fast and safe
charging.
This ensures optimal control of the charging curve
for a long battery service life.
8.2
Batteries / Battery pack
During every longer period of non-use (e.g. longer than 1 week), the
batteries should be charged, i.e. every night, during weekends,
holidays , and also before works holidays, to prevent them becoming
discharged.
WARNING!
During assembly, installation, commissioning,
and set-up operations, care must be taken that no
electrically conducting objects are dropped or
placed between the battery terminals or between
a battery terminal and a metal part of the lifter.
Work on the battery pack may only be carried out
by experts.
