Table 8-20
summarizes the environmental requirements for the VXAtape
cartridges. You should maintain the temperature and humidity at a steady
level within these ranges, and also limit fluctuations in temperature and
humidity.
Note:
When a VXAtape is brought into the room where the VXA drive is located,
allow the VXAtape to adjust to room temperature and humidity before
using it.
