 PRO INTERFACE

This chapter assumes that the VistaLINK

®

PRO server and client are already configured for your

network and you have basic knowledge of the VistaLINK

®

PRO interface. It also assumes that the user

or network administrator had already added the appropriate JAR file to the server, and both the client
and server applications have been restarted.

There are two methods that can be used to communicate with the 5782DEC and VistaLINK

®

 PRO.

1.  570FC Frame Controller and 5782DEC with appropriate JAR file. Ethernet connection is made

to the 570FC control port from VistaLINK

®

 PRO.

Open VistaLINK

®

PRO and click on the refresh tree icon. Expand the hardware tree by clicking

on the “+” button on the IP address of the frame controller’s port. The 570FC should show up
and the number of 5782DEC cards installed after it in the tree formation.

2.  Using the 570FC  control port and WebEASY  UI for direct web access  control (discussed

further in Section 5)

Open  VistaLINK

®

PRO and click on the refresh tree icon. Select 5782DEC and right click to

View
