GENERAL CONFIGURATION ITEMS
The
GENERAL SETUP
menu is used to set up various items related to the overall operation of the
5600MSC. Table 3-7 shows the items available in the
GENERAL SETUP
menu. Sections 3.7.1 to
3.7.15 give detailed information about each of the sub menus.
SERIAL PORT MODE
Sets the whether the unit will broadcast its menu settings as a Master or
receive its menu settings as a slave.
SYNCRO EXCLUSION
Sets the ATG, STG and HTD to be excluded from syncro operations.
MODEM SETUP
Sets the rules for modem operation
GPO 1 FUNCTION
Sets the function of General Purpose output 1.
GPO 2 FUNCTION
Sets the function of General Purpose output 2.
GPI 1 FUNCTION
Sets the function of General Purpose input 1.
GPI 2 FUNCTION
Sets the function of General Purpose input 2.
FIRMWARE
Displays the firmware version and upgrade firmware utility.
ENG/USER MODE
Sets the operating mode of the controls to Engineering or User
PRESET SAVE/GET
Saves and retrieves setups
DST RULES
Sets the rules for Daylight Savings Time
IP RULES
Sets the Internet Protocol Addresses
NTP RULES
Sets the rules for Network Time Protocol
SET SYSTEM TIME
Used to set the system time when there is no time reference.
SET DATE yy/mm/dd
Used to set the system date when there is no time/date reference
SET USER BITS
Used to set the user bits of the time code when the User Bit Mode is set to
Manual Entry.
USER BIT MODE
Used to set the how the time code user bits will be set.
