Function block [pool]

Configuration parameter

5.5

Function block [pool]

Parameters to be set

Set or check the following parameters.

Explanation of [Warm-up time]

The runtime of the consumer pump is set with this to
measure the actual temperature of the consumer (e.g.:
pool).  This  is  necessary  when,  for  example,  the
temperature  sensor  is  located  in  the  return  and  not
directly on the consumer.

Explanation of [Hysteresis]

This  sets  the  difference  of  how  far  the  current
temperature of the consumer [Pool temperature] can
fall  from  the  setpoint  [Pool target temperature]  to
request heat.

Example:
[Pool target temperature] = 25 °C
[Hysteresis] = 2 °C
=> if the temperature of the consumer falls below 23
°C, heat will be requested.

Explanation of [Pool target temperature]

The desired temperature of the pool to be achieved is
set with this parameter.

Explanation of [Frost protection]

The individual conditions (start time, duration, external
temperature) for the frost protection of the consumer
pump are adjustable.
The start time is defined with the [Start] parameter. If
during  this  time  the  external  temperature  falls  below
the limit value set [Enable temperature], the consumer
pump will be  switched on  for the adjustable duration
[FreezeProtDur].

Explanation of [Runtime]

This  sets  the  runtime  of  the  pump  for  the  water
treatment (regulation of salt content or of pH value re-
spectively).  This  starts  at  the  same  time  as  the
consumer  pump  (e.g.,  pool  pump)  and  remains  in
operation for the runtime set.
If the consumer pump is switched off prematurely, the
water treatment pump also switches itself off.

Set  the  runtime  for  the  water  treatment  slightly
shorter than the operating time of the consumer

pump.  This  will  prevent  a  pressure  increase  in  the
pipeline or a false dosing of the water treatment after
the consumer pump has switched off.
