Controls
Switches
Reset - Returns system to normal state after all inputs have been
restored. Calls action 9002.
Alarm Silence - Silences audible devices. Calls predetermined action
9004. Pressing Alarm Silence twice initiates drill/all call.
Trouble Silence - Silences local PS4/8B trouble buzzer.
Drill/All Call - Generates general activation on all audible circuits per
action 9003.
Back - Reviews previously displayed information and provides a
backspace function during keypad entry.
Next/Ack - scrolls display to next screen; acknowledges receipt of
alarm and trouble conditions.
Keypad
The keypad is used to perform advanced system functions, not required
during basic fire alarm system operation. The keypad is normally covered
with removable panel, which contains the basic system operating
instructions.
Buzzer
The system buzzer sounds during system trouble and pulses on
unacknowledged messages. Located on power supply PS4B or PS8B.
