5. Replacement of parts
5.1. Control board assy.
1) Remove the back cover. (Refer to ‘4. Assembly and
Disassembly of External Facing’.)
2) Remove all of the connectors connected to the board. (Refer
to ‘3. Wiring Diagram’.)
3) Unscrew the screws (cross-recessed bind screw M3×5) and
spacers (resin) fixing the board.
4) Place the back cover after replacing it to the new board and
confirming that all of the connecters are placed.
Do not pull only connector forcibly at the time of disconnection.
It may cause breaking of the connector.
5.2. Printer Control Board Assy. and Printer
1) Remove the back cover.
(Refer to ‘4. Assembly and Disassembly of External Facing’.)
2) Disconnect the harness on the side of control board Assy. which
connects the control bard Assy. and printer control board Assy.
3) Replace the printer by unscrewing 2 screws (cross-recessed bind
head tapping screw 3×10 black) fixing it :Fig. 1
4) Replace the thermal head of the printer
Disconnect the harness on the side of the printer control board
Assy. which connects the thermal head and printer control board
Assy. :Fig. 2
Unscrew the screw (cross-recessed bind head tapping screw 2×8)
fixing the thermal head, replace the thermal head and connect the
harness to the printer control board Assy. :Fig. 3
5) Replace the printer control board Assy.
Disconnect the harness on the side of the printer control board
Assy. which connects the thermal head and printer control board
Assy.: Fig. 2
6) Replace the paper feed roller of the printer cover. Replace the roller
by unscrewing the screws (cross-recessed bind head tapping screw
2.6×6) fixing it. :Fig. 4
