Maintenance

No periodic maintenance or adjustment is
required. However, a quick test at the beginning
of every shift is recommended.

CAUTION:
The metal detector may be damaged during high
pressure wash down. Such damage is not
covered by warranty. E-Z Tec IV metal detectors
are water tight and will not be damaged by
incidental water contact. However, direct pressure
wash spray must not be directed at the control
panel, especially in the area of the display. Some
cleaning agents may cause damage or
discoloration of the control panel and / or the
aperture liner.

E-Z Tec V metal detectors are designed to
withstand direct high pressure washdown.
Nevertheless, it is good maintenance practice to
avoid extensive pressure washing in areas that
do not require it. Taking this precaution will
prolong the life of your metal detector equipment.

The metal detector should be inspected regularly
for physical damage, especially in the region of
the aperture liner. The unit should be kept clean
and dry if possible. Generally this is all that is
necessary to keep the unit working at peak
performance. In the event of any abnormality,
please contact the factory.

The following are lists of recommended spare parts
for the E-Z Tec IV and E-Z Tec V Metal Detector.

When ordering replacement parts include the part
description, part number, and serial number of the
metal detector.
