Hardware Status
Table 5-16 lists the CLI commands that display status information, such as power, temperature, ports, and
alarms for the fan tray and individual cards and ports. Required characters and keywords are shown in bold;
arguments for which you must supply a value are shown in italics. You can enter
show
commands in any
mode.

The mode in which you enter a command is as follows:
1. Enter
show
commands in any mode.
2. Enter
clear
and
reload
commands in exec mode.
3. Enter the
card
command and the
port
command for any type of port or channel in global
configuration mode.
4. Enter the
loopback
and
shutdown
commands in the configuration mode for the port or
channel.
