The
ergo
line series of welding machines has been designed to be easy to operate and suitable for a
variety of welding applications for heavy duty industrial use. The range of voltage output settings
coupled with continuously variable wire feed speed control give the operator the high degree of
flexibility required in the MIG welding process. The power source is constructed with a copper
wound transformer fitted with full overload protection to enable a very high welding duty cycle to
be maintained. Also the
ergo
line machines feature a powerful wire drive unit with two driven rolls.
Installation
Location
Position your welding machine in a convenient unobstructed dry place free from dust and grease.
Electrical Connection
The
ergo
line
200 and 250
welding machine comes with a 4-wire cable. When connecting a suitable
plug, be sure the earth lead (yellow green) is connected to the terminal with the earth sign. The
machine is designed to operate on a three phase basis with 400-415V input voltage and therefore the
three remaining leads must be connected to the three phases of the three supply.
The "neutral"
terminal is NOT used.
Your
ergo
line
170
welding set is built for single phase supply, so a cable is fitted with a Europe
standard connection. If it is necessary to connect another plug, be sure the earth lead (yellow green)
is connected to the terminal with the earth sign. The machine is designed to operate on a single
phase basis with 230-240V input voltage and therefore one of the remaining leads must be
connected to one phase, the other to the "neutral" terminal.
For all sets:
Connect the welding earth return lead to the work piece ensuring a good electrical
connection is made.
