Paper Handling

1. After confirming that the document is printed,

Ready

appears on the LCD panel.

2. Press the

Cut/Eject

button to send the media forward.

Note:

Press the

Paper Feed

button to choose the cut position on the

media.

3. Put the utility cutter on the guide track carved in the platen.

Then slide the cutter along it and cut the media.

Caution:

Be careful not to cut your finger while using the utility
cutter.

❏

Keep the cutter out of the reach of children.

4. After cutting, press the

Pause

button to go back to online

mode.

Note:

When the printer is in online mode after the cutting, the media is
not sent to the print position automatically.

Printing page lines

If you want to print continuously on roll paper first, then cut the
page yourself after you finish printing, use the Print Page Line
setting. To make the Print Page Line setting using the control
panel, see “SelecType Settings” on page 1-7. To use the printer
software, see “Using the Roll Paper Option” on page 2-17.
