Optional parameters
• Destination IP address
Configures the specified IP address as connection destination for all printer drivers
to be installed. However, if the Package File was created with "use current settings"
checked on the Port Setting, e.t.c. screen, the address configured at the time of file
creation is specified.
• Log file name
Specifies the name to which the log file will be renamed after the installation is
finished.
• Whether or not to reboot
Specifies whether to reboot the computer after the installation is finished or not.
• Window handler of destination of result notification
Specifies the window to which the result of the Silent Installation will be notified.
• Notification message ID
Specifies the message ID for notifying the result of the Silent Installation to the
specified window.

Reboot command line

Destination IP address Semantics
None Sets the IP address specified in Setup.ini.
-P< IP address> or

IP address = nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn
Sets the destination of connection of the printer driver to the specified
IP address.
Log file name Semantics
None Uses the default (APDInstall.log).
-L< "Log file name"> or
-l< "Log file name">
After installation, renames the log file as specified.
*Sets the "winnt" folder as the log file's output path.
Whether or not to reboot Semantics
None Reboots after the installation is complete.
-R< Y/y/N/n> or

"Y" or "y": Reboots the PC.
"N" or "n": Does not reboot the PC.
Window handler of destination of
result notification Semantics
None Does not notify the results of the processing by using the window
message.
