SelecType Options
This section lists all the options available when you use SelecType.
Most options are the same whether you’re working in LJ-2P, LQ, or
FX emulation mode. Some of the options in Level 1, however, have a
different function for each mode. These options are listed later in this
chapter. See the Quick Reference card at the back of this manual for
a map of all SelecType menus and options.
Level 1 options
When you press the
SelecType
button to enter Level 1 first SelecType
LEVEL1 appears on the display. Then one of the Level 1 main menu
options listed below appears.
INPUT
P-SIZE
COPIES
ORIENT
FONT
STATUS SHEET
FONT SAMPLE
SUB CONFIG
SYSTEM CONFIG
Each of these options is described below. An asterisk (*) indicates the
factory default setting for each option.
Note: If you have selected the INDIVIDUAL setting in Level 2, the
display shows CH SELECT after the Level 1 display whenever
you enter Level 1. After you select the channel, one of the main
menu options listed above appears on the display.
