Insert the 64 MByte DIMM card in the 100-pin female DIMM connector, making sure that its
notched lip lines up correctly with the connector. As you gently press the DIMM down into
the connector, as shown in
Figure 2-10
, the handle clasps will partially close. Push the handle
clasps in to firmly seat the card.

Reattach the chassis cover and base, and fasten the end caps.
Rack Mounting the XSR
If you want to rack mount your XSR, perform the following steps:
1.
Remove the end caps as described in
Step 3
of “Installing the NIM Cards.”
2.
Attach two brackets to the XSR as shown in
Figure 2-11
.

Attach the bracketed XSR to your rack.
