Unlocking of configuration mode
If an attempt is made to change parameters on display when the device is locked, the user is
automatically requested to unlock the device:
Function "unlock parameter" (0A4):
By entering the unlock parameter (on the display or via communication)

the Micropilot is released for operation.
Hardware unlock:
After pressing the
O
,
S
and
F
keys at the same time, the user is asked to enter the unlock
parameter

= for HART devices.

Caution!
Changing certain parameters such as all sensor characteristics, for example, influences numerous
functions of the entire measuring system, particularly measuring accuracy. There is no need to
change these parameters under normal circumstances and consequently, they are protected by a
special code known only to the Hauser service organization.
