disassembling the assembly, replacing the sensors and seals, and contains information on
the material resistance properties, as well as on spare parts and accessories.

1.
Check the upper part of the
assembly for impermeability
to compressed air and for
mechanical damage.
2.
Check process connection for
impermeability to the process
and for mechanical damage.
3.
Check compressed air pipes
and connections for leaks and
mechanical damage.
1.
Clean the exterior of the assembly as required. To replace the seal,
the assembly must be clean, dry and if necessary decontaminated.
2.
For inductive status confirmation, check the switch status and
adjust if necessary.
3.
Replace seals that are not in contact with medium (it is
recommended that this be done as required but at least once a
year)).
4.
Replace seals in contact with medium (at least once a year, no
further recommendations are possible as this depends to a large
extent on the process, material and usage frequency of the
assembly).
5.
Once maintenance work has been completed, perform the
following final inspection:
• Assembly moves to measure and service position?
• Service and measure feedback signals present?
• Process connection and compressed air connections sealed?
• Does measurement indicate plausible values?
The replacement of sealing elements depends on the assembly type. The replacement
instructions are included in the relevant service kit. The required service kit can be found
in the Operating Instructions for your assembly.
