Place the adapter for the reagent strips into the sample
block. The red marking on the adapter must point to the red
point on the sample block.
Attention:
Load both blocks of the sample tray evenly (see below)!

Insert a maximum of 4 strips into the adapter. The long tab
marked with the label “AJ” must point to the side opposite
of the tip block.

Fold down the holding-down clamps to prevent the plates
and strips from being pulled out of the sample blocks during
the extraction process.

Insert the filter tips and the elution tubes into the tip block:
Insert the SmartExtraction filter tips with granulate in
the first drill hole (1).
Insert the longer filter tips without granulate in the
center drill hole of the tip block (2).
Place the elution tubes into the wider drill hole at the
edge of the tip block (3).
Attention
Place the filter tips correctly! If long tips are placed in posi-
tion 1, they will reach the bottom of the elution tubes dur-
ing extraction and cannot be ejected anymore. The device
aborts the extraction process.
