2.2.2  Connect

Once the data has been captured, it is stored in the Hovermap unit on a 480 GB solid-state drive. Use a 
USB flash drive to retrieve the data from the unit.

Retrieve the data as follows:

Ensure that Hovermap is in a ready state (the status LED should be a slow pulsing blue).

Insert a USB flash drive into either of the USB slots.

The status LED will change to a rapid blinking light blue. Any scan that has not yet been 
transferred will be copied to the flash drive. The transfer is complete when the status LED 
returns to a slow pulsing blue.

Remove the USB flash drive.

2.2.3  Compute

Once the data has been retrieved from the Hovermap, it is in a raw state and will need to be processed. 
Use the Emesent Processing Software to create a rich 3D point cloud. Refer to the 

Emesent Processing 

Software User Manual

 for more information.

Note

To retrieve data, the USB flash drive must be formatted in an exFAT file format.

Note

Scans are stored internally until they are deleted manually. Refer to the 

Web UI

section for more information.
