MONITOR/DEFROST

6. Press 

 to go the Setpoints tab. Change 

the setpoint value to the desired setpoint the 

device will use. This setpoint will pass its 

setting to the device after connecting inputs/

outputs. 

7. Advanced to the Defrost tab and change the 

defrost settings. The defrost settings must 

match the device defrost settings. 

8. In the Defrost tab, select the property 

Term 

Type

. Press 

(LOOK UP)

 and choose 

THERMOSTAT

.

9. This will expose a digital input in the Inputs 

tab to route the XM670K_50 Device 

Application property 

DEFROST END

, which 

will be the standard circuit indication to 

terminate the circuit defrost, updating the 

circuit status. 

10. Press 

to advance to the 

Defr Times

 tab 

and set the times.

11. The circuit will provide the Start Defrost 

signal to the XM670K_50; however, the 

XM670K_50 will take over all defrost 

sequencing until it has ended and signal back 

to the circuit to terminate defrost and update 

status.
