Fluctuating or erroneous
display
17. Faulty A/D converter.
Change BKS PCB.
1. Incorrect response setting for
t90.
Check the value for t90 time. See
Section 3-3k, page 3-10.
2. Pumping rate inadequate.
The feeder line between the sampling
point and the analyzer is too long.
Use a larger external pump. Consider
adding a bypass line to the process
stream for sampling purposes.
Response time too long
(t90 time)
3. Contamination of the gas
paths.
Check gas paths and gas conditioning
for contamination.
Clean gas paths and change the filter
elements.
1. Optional needle valve not
open.
Open needle valve.
2. Sample gas pump not on.
Check connections.
3. Pump membrane defective.
Change membrane on pump.
4. Sample gas pump defective.
Change sample gas pump.
5. Optional solenoid valves
defective.
Check the valve face on the solenoid
valves and change if necessary.
No gas flow
6. Contamination in the gas
lines.
Check gas lines including filters for
contamination.
Clean gas lines and change filter
elements.
