TROUBLESHOOTING
6-1 ERROR MESSAGES
Some of the failures which may arise during
measurement will be indicated on the display
in the form of error codes. When a failure oc-
curs, the display will alternate between the
concentrations value and the error code as:
Where E = Error code
An optional status signal relay closure is
available (see Table 2-3, page 2-8).
NOTE
Observe safety measures when working
on the analyzer.
Error Code
Possible Reasons
Check / Remedy
1. Displays are switched off.
Activate any pad.
Check parameter dOFF.
(see Section 3-3g, page 3-9)
2. No power to analyzer.
Check electrical supply.
No Display
3. Front panel BKS connection
absent.
Check connection on BKS PCB X1.
1. Battery buffer faulty.
Check if jumper J7 is plugged in.
Flashing
2. The EPROM default values
were changed.
Exchange battery if battery voltage is
< 3.5 V.
(The error is cleared by activating any
pad or with serial interface instruction
$627.)
1. Jumper not plugged in or
incorrectly plugged in.
Channel 1: Check jumper J1
Channel 2: Check jumper J2
(Switch analyzer off and then on again.)
2. Positive or negative reference
voltage absent.
Check reference voltage X10 and X12
on BKS PCB.
3. Light barrier signal absent.
Check connection X9 on BKS PCB.
Check Plug 9, pin 2 on BKS PCB.
4. IR
