5.2.4.1 Shelf Manager
The shelf manager can be accessed either via the physical IP or the virtual IP address. The
physical IP address remains the same on each shelf manager when the shelf manager switch
their active and standby roles. The virtual IP address is moved from the former active to the
former standby shelf manager when they change their roles.
5.2.4.1.1 Physical IP Address on Backplane Interface
The physical IP addresses on the back plane interfaces are as follows:

The physical IP address on the out-of0band interfaces depend on the shelf address and are as
follows:
5.2.4.1.3 Virtual IP Address on Backplane Interfaces
The virtual IP address may be used when and HPI application wants to access the HPI daemon.
If there is an ATCA-F120 present in the system and the shelf manager is identified as SAM1410,
the IP addresses are as follows:
