• When refitting the shredding knives check that all bolts are tight (torque loading : 40Nm).
(Torque loading 35Nm).
• When fitting the blades, always position the nuts on the (1) left-hand side of the blade plate. This
order of assembly ensures that the nuts are tightened by the direction of rotation of the engine.
As a reminder: “Always position the nuts on the belt pulley (2) side.”
• The bolts must be rechecked and, if necessary, tightened after 5 operating hours.
CAuTION ! :
Incorrectly installed or badly installed blades can pose a danger to the operator
and the machine. If this happens, you are no longer covered by the warranty.
11.4.3 Checking the drive belt for correct tension
• Remove the belt guard (Chapter 11.2.1).
• Place an 8 kg load on the V-belt midway between
the two pulleys.
• If this produces a 1 cm deflection, then belt tension
is correct.
11.4.4 Tightening the V-belt
• Loosen the guide bolts (5 & 6) and unscrew them 1.5 cm. (M10 SW 17)
• Position a metal plate between the base of the engine and the bolt (6) and retighten this bolt.

• Partially unscrew the 4 bolts retaining the engine (1, 2, 3, 4) (M10, SW 17).
• Push the engine forwards via the tensioning bolt (6). Ensure correct belt tension.
