10.2 Turning the unit on and off
To turn on the tool proceed as follows:
1.
Press Power button for about 2 seconds.
2.
Release the button after hearing a beep.
After the first beep the
green LED
turns on.
The tool emits a second beep (longer and delayed of about 3 seconds)
indicating the success of self-configuration procedure and that the tool is
ready to be used.
A series of beeps indicates that the auto-setting has NOT been
successfully completed.
In this case, you are advised to turn off the tool and disconnect any external
power supply, wait a few seconds and then try again.
Turn the display unit on before turning the tool on.
To turn the tool off you must keep the
Power
button pressed until you hear
a beep.
Before turning the tool off make sure you have closed any
software.
