6.2.2.   Software installation from CD

1.

Insert the CD supplied together with the Euro-2000 ALPHA register into the CD drive of your

computer.

2.

Choose the required language version of software (EuroSoft for Euro-2000 Alpha).

In the DOS environment write “install” and press the key ENTER. In the Windows 95 system

select the Run option in the Start menu. In the dialog window of the Run menu choose the

required version, write “install” and press the key ENTER.

3.

The installation program starts. During the installation, enter the location (disc, directory) for the

program installation on your computer and the information on your company.

4.

After installing the program in your computer, the system announces whether the installation

was successful.

5.

Press any key on the computer keyboard to end the installation program.

Note: You can download the recent version of EuroSoft from our internet web site 

http://www.elcom.sk

6.3.   How to start EuroSoft

1. Go to the sub-directory in which the Eurosoft program is installed.

2. Enter „

euro

“ and press the ENTER key. ( „euro“ write without introductory marks)

Note:

       Eurosoft software supplied on CD or diskette is for DOS. We do not guarantee a software

reliability under Windows 95 system.

6.4.  EuroSoft main menu

The main menu contains the following options :

Settings:

Setting the number of decimal places, print format, option to select the PC serial

port and to program transmission speed.

Edit:

Creation and editing of the existing data to begin transmission into the register.

Send:

Transmission of the selected data into the register.

Receive:

Reading the selected data from the register.

Reports:

Visual check of the prepared data and data read from the register.

Print:

Printing data on printer.

End:

Ending of program.
