The entering of the add on value from the keyboard is possible if the value is lower than the

preprogrammed limit (system flag No. 7).

Note 2:

In case of linked PLU, the add on is applied to the first item only.

4.8.   Percent add-on and percent discount

The system permits programming of the value of the percentage rate that is usually used for add-on

and for the discount rate

. If you need to register a different rate than the one preprogrammed, enter the

numeric value of the add-on or of the discount before pressing the percent button. The value of a new rate

will be effective only for one registration.

4.8.1.   Percent add-on

Example 1: A five percent add-on for special services is added.  In the following example the

preprogrammed for five percent.

Note:

If all items within a  transaction  have the same handling charge, the charge may be added at one

time for the whole transaction.  When all items have been registered on which the add-on is
