3.1. Initialization.
Before placing the cash register into operation, it must be initialized.
Cash register
initialization clears all programmed data.
Initialize the non-fiscal cash register by
the following procedure. Turn the mode key to the
P
position. Press the
R
(CREDIT) button. The notification of
Memory clearing
appears in the dis-
play. To confirm the initialization, press the
V
(SUBTOTAL) button. The cash
register printer prints Memory clearing... and after a short time the successful
Initialization, printer prints Clearing finished.

WARNING:
Cash register initialization clears all programmed data and sets the default values. Grand Totals, flag
number 1 value and the first digit of the flag number 2 remain unaffected. Initialization can be executed only
if Z daily and Z periodical report were executed.
WARNING: THE FISCAL CASH REGISTER CAN BE INITIALIZED ONLY BY SERVICE TECHNICIAN.
