special cases
• A max security arming can be performed while the sec-
tors cannot be armed or are already armed; in such case
the arming is denied but the max security property is set
and the corresponding event is saved on to the system
log.
• When a weekly programmer activates a max security
arming but the sectors cannot be armed and feature the
arming lock option, the sectors will not be armed but the
weekly programmer max security property will be set
anyway.
• When a max security arming command is sent via remote
control to already armed sectors, such sectors will re-
main armed and will be assigned the User Max Security
property.

REMOTE INTERROGATION AND
REMOTE CONTROL
When control units are equipped with GSM module, SMS
can be used:
• to receive information about system status;
• to send commands to the unit.
An SMS text will be sent to the unit and the unit will reply
with another SMS text.
The command sent will be accepted only if sent by a
number on the unit phone number list.
9.1 sMs structure
SMS text shall be in the following form:
C.nnnnnn
X.X
where
nnnnnn = code of the user sending the SMS (6 digits)
X.X = code of the command (see table)
Leave an empty space between C.nnnnnn and X.X.
With a single SMS text it is possible to send up to 10 com-
mands/reports, separated by an empty space.
C.nnnnnn X.X Y.Y Z.Z
Commands will always be performed before reports.
To each SMS received, the unit will reply with one or more
SMS texts (max 16) containing information on the operating
status requested or on the command performed.
The control unit will reply only if the number sending
the SMS is on the unit phone list.
The following tables contain command codes to be used in
X.X. section.
Codes from R.C to R.T are report codes; the others are com-
mand codes.
