Turn the screw on the safety valve several
rotations to the left until the safety valve
releases air.

Let the safety valve vent for only a few
seconds.

Turn the screw to the right until it seats, closing
the valve.

18.8. Compressor performance check

Turn off the compressor using the STOP button.

Vent the air pressure in the air tank to zero.

Turn on the compressor using the START button.

Measure the time to fill the air tank from 0 to 7 bar.

The measured value must be less than the data provided in the “Technical Data” table.
18.9. Check of non-return valve operation
Compressed air line:
Check for the proper operation of all non-return valves in the compressed air line and the
disconnection of pressure hoses from air pumps.
One aggregate must be running at all times, while the others may be shut off
using the current protection device in the switchboard. No compressed air may
leak from the check valves.
Air tank:
Check for proper operation of the non-return valve on the air tank by disconnecting the pressure
hose from the valve.
Check the check valve operation once the air tank has come up to pressure and
with the compressor off. No compressed air may leak.
