Accessing the PS-17
You can access the PS-17 as follows:
•
Printer control panel: Provides access to selected PS-17 features.

You can also use PS-17 utilities such as WebTools or Command WorkStation to view PS-17 status and manage print
jobs from a client computer. For more information, see
Utilities
.
Access Configure from Command WorkStation

From Command WorkStation, connect to the desired PS-17 and log in as Administrator.

Do one of the following to start Configure:

In
Device Center
, select
General Info
, then click
Configure
in the lower right corner.

In the
Server
menu, click
Configure
.

From Configure, change current PS-17 setup options.
WebTools
WebTools consists of several utilities that allow you to manage your PS-17 from the Internet or your company
intranet.
From WebTools, you can access:

Home
provides current information about the jobs processing and printing on the PS-17.
Home
also allows you
to download software, manage installed Fiery options, check for product updates, and view the license
agreement.
•
Docs
allows remote users to access jobs on the PS-17 over the Internet or intranet.
•
Configure
allows the PS-17 administrator to view and modify Setup options remotely from a Windows or Mac
computer.
•
Backup and Restore
allows you to back up the PS-17 manually, schedule automatic backups, and restore the
PS-17 from a backup file.
