screen and substitute it when holes, bends
or deformations appear;
- check carefully if dust, debris or organic
material is in contact with parts of the
Spark Arrester System; clean it often with
tools or shop air.

WARNING: Do not operate your
brush cutter if the muffl er is
damaged, missing or modifi ed. An
improperly maintained muffl er
will increase the risk of fi re and
hearing loss.
Bevel Gear
Fill with grease using the correct tube to the
level of the lower lip of the access hole (D, Fig.
8). Do not use more than 0.02 lb (10 grams).
MAINTENANCE
CAUTION: do not use a grease
gun. The high pressure can
damage the bearings and seals.
Use high quality molybdenum bisulphide
grease.
Guard
WARNING: If the cutting tool or
defl
ector becomes clogged or
stuck, always turn off the engine
and make sure the cutting tool
has stopped before cleaning.
Grass, weeds, etc. should be
cleaned off the cutting tool at
regular intervals.
Replace guard if damaged.
