9) Enable Input's Message: This item may only be used if an input's
message is currently disabled. All messages in the system are inherently
enabled.
A) Disable Input's Message: This item will prevent a zone’s change of
state from reporting to the printer and CM1(N) display. This item is
normally used to prevent the confirmation of indicating circuits from
printing/displaying during alarm condition. Fire and tamper zones may
NEVER have their messages disabled! Each disabled message will be
posted on the DP counter (disabled points) on the CM1(N).
B) Enable Action: This item will enable an action (allow it to occur, if
called). All actions in the system are inherently enabled. Only actions
that have been disabled may be enabled. Enabling an action that is not
disabled will have no effect on the operation of that action.
C) Disable Action: This item will prevent an action from occurring if it
has been called to activate. When disabled, it will be posted on the DP
counter (disable points) on the CM1N.
D) Enable Time Control: All Time control in the system are inherently
disabled. Time controls will NOT occur in the system until they have
been enabled after initial power-up of the system or after a system
Restart command.
E) Disable Time Control: This item will disable a time control that has
been enabled. This feature is normally used to prevent time of day
functions from operating during fire conditions, etc. When disabled, it
will be posted to the DP counter (disabled points) on the CM1N.
F) Activate Sequence: This item will start a sequence.
G) Cancel Sequence: This item will stop a sequence while it is in
process and prevent it from advancing further. Only sequences that
have been activated may be canceled.
H) Enable Sequence: This item will allow a sequence to activate, if
called. All sequences in the system are inherently enabled. Only
sequences that are disabled may be enabled.
I) Disable Sequence: This item will prevent a sequence from activating.
When disabled, the sequence will be posted on the DP counter
(disabled points) on the CM1N.
J) Message: A 40-character message may be entered. The message must
be a generic message indicating the function of the action. The message
should not contain information concerning the status of the action
because this status is indicated by the standard default zone header
which precedes this programmed message. This message will be printed
and displayed on both the activation and the restoration of the action.
For zone coding, place the zone code in the body of the message and
precede the code with a "#" symbol (i.e., #1234).
Note:
An action will NOT print a message unless a message has been
identified.
