Four panel addresses must be assigned when the RASP panel is used.
However, only the panel addresses identified during data entry will
count when calculating the maximum number of panels on a system.
Example:
Suppose RASP panel addresses 9, 10, 11, and 12 are assigned in the
data entry program. If only one LED panel and 2 switch panels are
installed, only panel addresses 9 and 10 count against the 28 available
system panel addresses. In this case, there are 26 remaining panel
addresses.
SAN Module Addressing
SAN annunciators have a panel address range from 05 through 62. Each
SAN annunciator CPU card that is used requires one (1) panel address
from the available 28 (52 for CM1NX/RMDP-1NX version) in the
network. Each module of the SAN series has a DIP switch to set both
the start group address of the inputs and the start group address of the
outputs. The start group addresses are set on the DIP switches in groups
of 8. The following list indicates the input and output capability of each
module. The maximum number of inputs and outputs per SAN
annunciator CPU card is 96 inputs and 96 outputs.
