2. If the outdoor unit is placed higher than the hole in the wall, you must set a U-shaped curve in
the outdoor segment of the pipe. This prevents rain or other outside moisture from running
inside.
3. Secure the pipes to the wall using pipe hangers (not included).
Vacuum Pumping
1. Remove the valve caps on the liquid valve and gas valve. Remove the nut of the refrigerant
charging vent.
2.
Connect one of the piezometer’s charging hoses to the refrigerant charging vent of the gas
valve. Connect the other charging hose to the vacuum pump.
3. Open the piezometer completely and operate it for 10
– 15 minutes to check whether the
pressure of the piezometer remains at -0.1 MPa.
4. Close the vacuum pump and operate the unit for 1
– 2 minutes to check whether the pressure
of the piezometer remains at -0.1 MPa. If the pressure decreases, there may be leakage.
5. Remove the piezometer. Open the valve cores of the liquid and gas valves completely with
the inner hexagon spanner.
6. Tighten the screw caps of the liquid and gas valves and the refrigerant charging vent.
