Switching the pump on again
1.
Check that the mains plug is connected to the power supply.
2.
[Keep the START/STOP]
button pressed for approximately 2 seconds.
WARNING!
The metering pump starts running automatically if the
Auto start
setting has been set to

in the Pump menu.
If the pump does not start automatically, you will once again need to
keep [START/STOP] button pressed for approximately 2 seconds.

The pump display lights up, the pump runs or displays the operating

Operation under fault conditions
8.5.1
Empty signal
If the empty signal is active, metering is no longer possible.
The empty signal symbol appears in the display:

As-delivered state of the pump:
The cover cap with an integrated bridge for level pre-warning and an empty signal is
inserted in slot I. If this is not the case, the pump outputs an error!
Slot I must be occupied at all times, either by the mounted jumpers
(protection cap with an appropriate symbol) or by connecting the empty
signal device (suction lance plug).
The empty and reserve signal inputs can be inverted in the "Configuration /
Level contact", see the enclosed User Manual for the EMP II E60
diaphragm metering pump, Article No. 417101795.
8.5.2
Malfunction alert
If the pump becomes overloaded or an internal malfunction occurs in the pump,
the metering is switched off after approximately 3 seconds.
An alert appears on the display.
The malfunction is automatically acknowledged after approximately 3 seconds and the
pump is ready for operation again.
After three malfunction alerts, the malfunction is no longer automatically acknowledged.
The operator now has to acknowledge the malfunction by pressing the ON/OFF button.
