8.4.3.3 Change of battery of the ram position display
Th e display is being fed by 1 lithium battery ½ AA, 3.6V. Th e lifetime is of about 4 years. When a battery change is
necessary, the display indicates it by (1).
Before the battery change please turn the ram up clockwise to the end position where the display shows
the value 0.0.
Now, do not change the position of the ram anymore. Th e stored values are kept.
Open the battery case and put in the new battery. Make sure the polarity is right. Th e (+) must be at the
side of the "ENTER RESET" button.
Close the battery case. Th e value was kept and is showing again 0.0. Th e display of the ram position is
now ready for operation again.
