B.3. Power
Connection
The required Power range is –40.5VDC to –75 VDC.
As in other ECI platforms, the 960E receives power from two sources in redundant mode.
The standard power feed module for the 960E is the High-current Input Filter dual-source
power feed module supported with two Central Filtering Unit (CFU) card modules. Each
CFU card supports both power sources. Hence, there is redundancy in the power source
and in the CFU card.
The High-current Input Filter power input module and the Central Filtering Unit cards are
designed for a maximum of 2500 W.
Supplied power cable has a diameter of 4x10 AWG with a cable length of 3 meters. Open
side is Ferrule Halogen-Free (HFFR) and closed side is D-type 5W5. See "Orderable
Items" (on page 32) for part number.
