5. Cable

Connecting

5.1. Protective

Ground

The grounding cable must be connected securely to the ground connection on the shelf in
which the 960E is being installed. The ground connection is located on the upper right
hand side of the shelf as shown in the figure below.

To ground the 960E.

1. Remove the GND lug from the shelf, below the CCP, by releasing the two ESD

screws.

2. Crimp the GND cable into the lug.

3. Re-install the cable with lug, secured with the screws.
