12.2.10 Stereo Channels 1-8 Overview Tab
The functionality of the stereo channels is mostly identical to the mono mic channels except for the follow-
ing main differences (refer to Section 12.2.4):
• There is no mic preamp. Instead there is 20 dB of analog line gain adjustable with Touch and Spin. The ad-
ditional gain is helpful in accommodating consumer-type sources. There is no Pad or 48V.
• There are two polarity reverse switches; one for each channel. These can be operated independently al-
lowing you invert the polarity of either side, or both if required.
• The channel’s input and output metering is stereo.
• The dynamics section has only a compressor. This is illustrated by a blank space in the overview screen
where the gate is normally displayed. The
Comp
tab replaces the
Dynamics
tab. The compressor’s key sig-
nal is a mono sum of the left and right channels, preventing image shift caused by unequal gain reduction
in the two channels. The input/output metering for the Compressor is also stereo.
• There is no Direct output.
• Stereo signal is summed to mono for mono sends; remains stereo for stereo sends.

• Save Channel Preset As — Saves the channel’s settings as a preset using a user-defined name.

Load Channel Preset
— Loads a previously saved channel preset.

Reset channel
— Resets the channel to its default settings.
• Reset EQ — Resets the channel EQ to its default settings.
• Reset dynamics — Resets the Dynamics section to its default settings.
• Reset compressor — Resets the Compressor to its default settings.
•
Reset aux/groups
— Resets the aux/groups section to its default settings.
• Reset inserts — Resets the inserts to their default settings.
• Copy — Copies the channel’s settings to the clipboard.
• Paste — Pastes the channel’s settings from the clipboard.
