Eaton’s Profile Command Console
Installation Manual
Step 12. Install The Electronic Control Boxes and Button Pads
A Profile console installation may include several different sit-to stand desk models. Refer to columns 17 and 18 in table 53 to
determine the appropriate control boxes for your sit-to-stand desk(s). A control box is required for each motorized work
surface. Motorized work surfaces that have 2 lift motors will require a smaller 2-channel control box. Motorized work surfaces
that have 3 lift motors will require a larger 3-channel control box.
Mount the appropriate control boxes to the underside of the work surfaces with (2) #10 x 1-3/4” long Phillips head screws, as
shown in figure 81. The rear work surface control box mounts to the right hand work surface frame channel with its power
receptacle pointing left towards the center of the desk. The front control box mounts to the middle of the front work surface
with its power receptacle pointing to the right.
Mount (1) button pad for each motorized work surface to the underside of the front work surface using (2) #8 x ¾” Phillips flat
head wood screws for each pad. If your corner sit-to-stand desk has only one motorized work surface, mount the control pad
in the right hand position. See figure 81.
