3.3 Installation of integrated / Split cooling unit

Indoor unit: rack mouned in 19’’ rack
Outdoor unit: vertical and horizontal installatoin

Indoor unit: 0~40°C
*Outdoor unit:
-20~45°C (common type)
-40~45°C (with low temperature kit)
Elevation
<=4000m, please consult the company for > 1000m cases, the capacity should be derated.

3.3.1 Integrated cooling unit installation
The integrated cooling unit has no outdoor unit. The cooling unit has been assembled by the factory as a
sub-component in the cabinet, with power wires and communication cables connected. The cooling unit comes
along with one 2m long drainage hose with the inner diameter of 12mm, users only need to connect to the
external drainage system or pipe onsite.
Notes:
The integrated cooling unit does not contain refrigerant. Please refer to the
Integrated Rack Type Air
Conditioner User
Manual for details on how to charge the refrigerant.
3.3.2 Split cooling unit installation
The indoor unit of the split cooling has been installed in cabinet at the factory , the user only need on-site
installation for the outdoor unit. One indoor unit is paired with one outdoor unit
Installation process:
Drill holes on wall
Piping connection
Welding (if neccessary)
Nitrogen charging
Vacuum
Charge refrigerant
(depending on
pipe length)
Install indoor unit
(Done by factory)
Install outdoor unit (only
applied to Split cooing)
Connect indoor and
outdoor power wire and
communication cable
Startup/commissioning
Product Inspection
Locate the outdoor unit and indoor unit
