Press any button on the device
that you wish to register. Hold the
button down until you see the
transmit LED flash.
The keypad gives a double “beep”
confirmation tone. The keypad
display shows:
The control unit has learned the
identity of the device and linked it
with your access code.
If the control unit has already
learned that device then you will
hear a low tone and the display
tells you that the device is already
in use.

If you have a device and want to know who it belongs to then use the
Test -

menu option, see page 57 .
Radio Hold Up Alarms (HUA)
No user can change any o
ther user’s radio HUA. (A Master User or Admin
User can register a radio HUA for a new user when they first add the user
to the system, see page 52.) Any user except a Guard or Set Only user can
register a radio HUA for themselves.
Note: While you are registering a new radio HUA the control unit will not
respond to an alarm signal from any radio HUA it has already
learned.
