Removing a non-compartmented motor starter (max.
four starters in one compartment).
•
Open the door of the compartment concerned and the
cable compartment door.
•
Switch off all MCCBs (motor switches) and check that
the outgoing main power connections are isolated (live
components are IP20 protected).
•
Ensure that the MCCBs (motor switches) will not be
switched on in any way (the outgoing part of each
MCCB must remain isolated).
•
Remove the auxiliary power plugs from the terminal
strips that protrude into the cable compartment (also
remove the auxiliary power connections with the
auxiliary bars, if present).
•
Remove the outgoing main power cables and the
shielding plate in the cable compartment.
•
Remove the auxiliary cable bundle(s) from the door by
opening the bundle clips.
•
Push the interlock cams of the operating panel(s)
inwards and push the panel(s) out of the door, see
Figure 3-40.
•
Turn each panel and push it through the opening in the
door and back into the compartment. The auxiliary
cabling and the operating panel are now only
connected to the plug-in unit.
•
Loosen all the plug-in unit adapter captive fixing screws
(A) (mark the adapter position inside the compartment
to facilitate remounting).
•
Remove from the compartment the plug-in units
including the auxiliary cabling and the operating panel
that are still connected to it.
