towards the upper right corner of the screen. In the track-up view, the
present position moves straight towards the top of the display. A "N" shows
to help you see which direction is north when the track-up mode is on.
Remember, in the track-up mode, the screen rotates as you change di-
rection. It always keeps your direction of travel (track) heading towards
the top of the screen.
In the course-up mode, the screen is locked
into your original bearing to the recalled way-
point, regardless of your track. (Note: the track-
up and course-up modes do not work when
the unit is zoomed-in on a C-Map cartridge.)
To select the desired mode, first press the
MENU key, then highlight the “EARTH MAP
OPTIONS” label, then press the right arrow
key.press the up or down arrow keys to move
the black box to the “UP ORIENTATION”, then
press the right arrow key to select it. Press the EXIT key to return to the
mapping screen.
C-MAP OPTIONS
If you are using the AccuMap Sport with a C-Map cartridge, a new menu
appears on the main menu list. This is the “C-Map Options” menu. Move
the black box to this menu item and press the
right arrow key. The screen at right appears.
These menu items let you turn the depth lines,
restriction areas, coastal features, and marine
navigation aids off or on. Highlight the desired
feature, then press the right or left arrow key to
change them. Press the EXIT key when you’re
finished.
