4.33 Menu Items: Alarm Set- Contact Output Used Set
The
Alarm Set- Contact Output Used Set
page allows the
user to edit settings for the 6 Dry Relay Alarm outputs.

includes 3 choices:

Not Used
: Choose this setting when not connecting any wires to the 2-wire Alarm Input.
▪
Normal Close
: Choose this setting for the alarm to activate when the 2-wire Dry Relay alarm
switches from closed to open (such as a relay or a FET as a switch). In this configuration and
using a relay, the contacts are NC (Normally Closed) so only alarm when the relay activates
(contacts will be open).

Normal Open
: Choose this setting for the alarm to activate when the 2-wire Alarm output is
physically connected and will switch to closed (such as a relay of a FET as a switch). In this
configuration and using a relay, the contacts are NO (Normally Open) so only alarm when the
relay activates (contacts will be closed).

To choose and set alarms that are tied to each Dry Relay, click the
Alarm Set
button to open
the Alarm page, which lists all available alarms that can be linked to a Dry Relay. The
Remove
All
button clears all checkboxes on the alarm page. To link alarms to the Contact #, click the
checkbox next to each desired alarm then click
Setting
to load the settings. When the progress
bar completes, the alarm setting are linked to that Contact # so just close the Alarm page.
Repeat the same process to link additional alarms to other available Contact #.

Click the
Setting
button to capture any changes made in Contact Output Used Set page.
